The return of a legend - the Black Gold!
Equipped with a massive Digigear II control wheel and an aluminum frame, the BG is a robust reel designed for battle. Developed in the United States by Daiwa Corporation USA, it features a state-of-the-art ATD carbon disk brake for serenely handling battles. Its arch-designed rotor (Air Rotor technology) is more aerodynamic for increased rotation fluidity. The spool is supported by a ball bearing that promotes the engagement of rotation during the fight.

Precision
The carbon disks are impregnated with a special ATD grease. In addition, an additional bearing on the spool further enhances the stability and progression of the brake.

Durability
The aluminum spool is equipped with a non-slip band to fix the line at the bottom of the spool. The aluminum frame features a black anti-corrosion anodization.

Power
This is the largest control wheel ever incorporated into a spinning reel. It provides superior power due to a wider contact area with the more pronounced helical teeth.

Reliability
The one-piece aluminum handle screws directly into the frame. It eliminates all parasitic movement during rotation and makes direct contact with the gear for better line control and increased reliability.

Fluidity
The Zaion carbon rotor is 15% lighter than a standard model. Its unique shape optimizes rotation fluidity thanks to better weight distribution and better balance.
