It easily folds into a horizontal position to allow you to leave your complete installation and in total safety on your boat during high speed navigation but also on the road during your travels.
Power supply advice: The ELITE FS9 sounder as well as the module of the ACTIVE TARGET 2 probe are to be powered in 12v. You need to provide enough power in Amps on your 12V battery for good autonomy over a full day.
It is recommended to install a switch on the power supply of your sounder and the ACTIVE TARGET 2 probe to be able to cut it off during water movements.
Advice on installing the ACTIVE TARGET 2 probe on the removable probe pole: The mounting of the probe pole is usually on the starboard side and next to the steering position in order to be able to adjust the orientation of your probe in a seated position on your seat at the console of your boat and to be able to benefit from a complete view if you are two anglers in vertical fishing mode.
For motor and high-speed navigation, you need to fold your pole into a horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and protect your probe.
