The Yo-Zuri Hydro Monster Shot is a minnow jig with a record density (40g for 9.5 cm!) Combined with its streamlined aerodynamic shape, it was designed to achieve exceptional casting distances! Thanks to its specific profile and its protruding lower lip, this lure offers a great versatility of swimming.
On a simple linear recovery, it evolves into a very swingy S-swimming style. With a low center of gravity, it sinks horizontally while oscillating on its axis and alternately presenting each of its sides. This very pronounced rolling descent simulating a dying prey is highly attractive to all predators! At the slightest twitch, it makes a sharp lateral deviation and in a succession of jerks, it can even swim a walking the dog underwater. Handled by faster subsurface pulls, it even occasionally jumps just out of the film like a fleeing fish.
With its long casting distances, it's perfect for targeting hard-to-reach areas (eg: rock heads) or for staying at a respectful distance from a hunt! It will also be appreciated by beach fishermen (eg: rip currents) or anyone practicing on rocky coasts (cliffs in shore jigging). Ultra dense, this lure can be easily casted to impressive distances - even with the strongest lines (eg: up to 50 / 80 lb). Possessing a full through-wire frame and 3 X strong treble hooks, the Yo-Zuri Hydro Monster Shot is also ideal for all extreme fishing - from red tuna hunts in France to those of the largest exotic predators!
