The SILVER SHADE is a small casting jig made from an ecofriendly 'Tungsten Composite' alloy. Its compactness and density allow it to be easily cast far from shore or onboard. The SILVER SHADE has an S-profile and a balanced design to work during all animation phases and thus fish all water layers, both vertically and linearly, by animating it with twitches or jerks, favouring ample deviations without straining the rod. It combines the responsiveness and vivacity of a slender jig with a marked butterfly effect during pauses and releases when you fish perch and pike-perch vertically on targeted areas or structures. If you aim to reach the hunts of marine predators (bass, mackerel, bonito...) or fool the vigilance of asps, it will perfectly withstand fast retrievals and will have a smooth and undulating swim that will undoubtedly trigger the reflex attacks of predators focused on small prey! Characteristics that also make it suitable for fishing sea trout from the Baltic Sea. Specifically designed to fish areas unreachable with other lures, it is particularly indicated in mountain lakes for fishing extremely far and deep for salmonids (brown trout, rainbow trout, lake trout, Arctic charr), its prototype version has notably enabled our ILLEX team to perform during the first edition of Salmo Trek in 2021 and its efficiency was once again demonstrated during the second edition by all our engaged teams!
