Available in three highly attractive colours, the Bottom Straight tenya lead head is designed to mount a shrimp, prawn and other cephalopod strip, in order to tempt these much sought-after sparids.

The Bottom Straight is recognizable at first glance with its characteristic inverted cone shape. This shape developed by the Japanese inventors of this technique was designed to allow a stable support on the bottom and slow fishing with wide animations.
Thus the Bottom Straight always lies flat on the bottom, and the bait in position remains clearly visible to predators. Incredibly effective, this traditional shape has spanned the generations and is still effective! We recommend it for precise and slow vertical fishing, as well as for areas where the current is strong and sustained.

The Bottom Straight is equipped with a main MUSTAD single hook that is ultra sharp, and which shape will perfectly match that of your shrimp. The assist hook, which is connected to an assist braid of 40 or 65lb., depending on the weight of the head, is slightly smaller to fully fit in the shrimp's head and match the size of the sparids' mouth.
