The Explorer Fireball is a heavy jighead specifically designed to be paired with a live bait (fish, squid, etc.). Its round shape perfectly pierces through currents and will allow it to stay vertical despite drift. It has an ultra-strong forged iron hook (3 X) with an inturned needle point. With a short shank and featuring a wide gap, this ultra-resistant "tractor hook" will allow you to fight the biggest specimens.

The head of this fireball has a ring underneath in a rear position allowing the addition of a stinger. This leader equipped with one or two hooks will serve to effectively arm the largest live baits. Embedded above the head, the attachment ring is a high-quality ball bearing swivel ensuring super smooth rotation – thus avoiding twisting issues. Extremely robust, it will withstand fights with the most powerful fish. The oversized eye with a large slit is made of a holographic film whose reflections are visible from great distances. The two-tone crackle-effect colours of the head play on colour contrasts for maximum teaser effect.

The high density of the Explorer Fireball makes it easy to locate on the sonar, thereby allowing the live bait to be positioned as precisely as the angler wants. It is thus possible to stay as close as possible to the reliefs or to present your live bait just at the level of a promising echo. In freshwater, it will be perfect for provoking catfish right in the heart of their hiding places by offering a fish just under their barbels. Combined with a live squid, it will be highly effective at sea on benthic predators (dentex, sea bream, scorpionfish, etc.) when presented close to rocks. Placed in open water, it will interest all pelagic predators such as amberjack, tuna, swordfish, etc.
