The HOVERJIG is a swimming Jig that has been specially developed for fishing for Pike. A very effective technique that is underexploited in Europe, there are periods when pikes feed on crayfish in cluttered areas (rocks, submerged wood) as much as fish in grassy areas. In these situations, the HOVERJIG is THE appropriate lure! Its streamlined head is designed to get through obstacles. The "anti-grass" Brush, long and thin, is the perfect balance between softness (crushing under jaw pressure) and hardness to go into obstacles. Pikes are attracted by anything that moves a lot of water! We have therefore chosen for the skirt a combination of natural hair, flashabou and silicone strands to achieve maximum volume and add visual flash and fine vibrations to your trailer. Swelling in water, this MS (Mixed) skirt will also slow down the descent of your set as much as possible. Tied with a steel wire, it is more resistant. This is a real advantage on days when the pikes are out! A sure bet when fishing for pike, we have positioned a ring under the jig head to add (or remove!) a palette (supplied with the HOVERJIG). Not accepting any compromise, we have developed our 5/0 size hook to put all the odds in your favor during the fight. Short and wide, it will optimize the trailer's action as much as your hooking!
We recommend pairing the HOVERJIG with the following trailers: • Crayfish imitation: - HOURRA CRAW: fine vibration/ pose on the bottom - BOOGIE CRAW: tonic vibration (flapping)/ slows down the descent
• Fish imitation: - TYPSY SXL: Powerful vibration/ falling fishing - PEPS: Gliding effect/ Weed bed area.
