The Korda "Stow" bite indicators have been designed for very fine fishing, they even work with a slack line. They have a "line clip" on the side of their head that holds the line and moves with it to give you a very sensitive visual bite indication. It is suitable for long distance fishing (with additional weights) as well as short distance and tight or slack line fishing. No more bites will escape you! In order to optimize the system the stow indicator must disengage from the line when a bite occurs, this happens when the indicator reaches the end of its tension just before the clip touches the detector. This can be controlled by adjusting the length of the chain. The complete system comes with 2 different chain lengths, depending on the height of your bite detector. These are placed with a magnet for a clean and quick installation in the stainless steel housing of the Stow under your detector. The Korda Stow system works with all detectors on the market.
