Yo-Zuri Pin’s: Finesse but muscled!
After years of loyal service, it must be acknowledged that the Pin's Minnow remains an unfading reference for the opening of the trout season!
This lure, which one might think is delicate due its profile, is actually specifically designed to confront currents. In short, it loves the juice! It is ideal for the shallowest areas like large flats because it moves high up in the water. For animation, we recommend a simple linear retrieve interspersed with some light twitches. It is excellent for covering a lot of ground quickly but also very useful for discrete pitching under the rod. Its swim is straight and stable, which allows it to venture close to covers and rocks. Its vibrations are quite discreet, which is an advantage for trout often frightened by too intense a wobble. It should also be mentioned that it is not very noisy, which is another advantage for wary fish.
Far from the extravagant colours that can be found here and there, the shades are very natural. Everyone will choose their favourite colour depending on their playing field, but the "speckled trout" and "bleak" patterns remain standards for many of us!
While the 5 cm (2 g) model is a jack of all trades, the 7 cm (4 g) model will allow for specific hunting of the biggest mamas or sea trout. It should be noted that it also rocks on chubs, perch and on all the beautiful fish that target small prey (more common than one might think!)
