A lure that's easy to use even though it's very technical due to its density and particular shape (flat head, rounded back and flat flanks). It offers the chance to prospect differently from another lure, a long water vein for example. Very effective in classic cast and retrieve, it accepts very dry animations that make its flanks shimmer to entice following trouts. It is also very useful in low levels and tricky fish to perform long drifts with very few animations. A formidable weapon for prospecting a remote water vein, or skirting a wooded bank on the opposite edge. Once its swimming depth is reached, it will be able to work independently (with tight line) during its slow ascent. A new complementary tool in the Smith range, must be tried urgently and it hasn't stopped getting attention!
