The latest addition to the Balam family, the Variant 255 distinguishes itself with its flexible silicone lip that allows it to dive more easily: it can naturally descend to almost 2m on long linear recoveries without needing to add additional weights like on the other Balams. Like other Balams, it animates quite quickly to trigger reflex attacks but also handles speed changes and accommodates well to longer or shorter pauses.
