The unique shape of the body, slim and long, of this model makes it perfect for catching lots of fish very quickly in all sorts of situations. Ideal for use on a whip or at all depths on a perch, the advantage of this float is its ultra fast bite nature with the long balsa body very hard to tangle and flip back or wind up.
Thanks to its ultra thin profile, the float enters and exits cleanly from the water during a strike, offering very minimal resistance to the fish taking the bait. In the lighter sizes, this model is ideal for use on a whip or short line tactics for small fish like the bleak.
The hairs of this model are made of fibreglass for easy shooting and great visibility, again slightly thicker than on many previous silverfish style floats that are hard to see in low light.
Available sizes: 0.3g, 0.5g, 0.75g, 1g, 1.5g, 2g, 2.5g, 3g.
The Guru Natural Pole Floats range explained:
This particular range of floats has been in development for a long time, we are almost certain you have seen various samples used by our consultants and in films for some time now! However, we have constantly tweaked and expanded the range during the design and production stage to produce a complete collection of floats suitable for a diverse range of jobs on natural sites across rivers, canals and still waters. Finally, they have arrived!
The range includes eight different models covering numerous shapes and sizes, all having specific uses in different situations. You have undoubtedly noticed the floats have been thoroughly tried and tested by our international team of fishermen, with personalities such as Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli, and Andy Bennett all contributing to their production. A great deal of attention and numerous modifications have been made to rod and hair lengths and diameters, so that each size is unique and perfect for the situation in question.
The key feature that sets this range of floats apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, giving the floats ultimate strength, durability, and longevity. This finish means that the float's high-quality balsa bodies are protected by an ultra-thin, incredibly durable elasticating coating that wraps the body, preventing any damage to the body due to wear, impacts or line cuts, thus reducing the risk of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is dark in colour, which, according to our main fishermen, was important since these floats have been used in clear, natural waters, the dark body blending into the water for ultimate focus on the high visibility bristles.
