This is the version 2 of the Bladebite Tungsten Blade Jig, now equipped with a thin, but very strong, custom-made metal blade to create a stunning swimming action. The key to the BladeBite is vibration and action, when retrieved on the first cast or pause, the blade immediately engages the water and starts to vibrate. A blade jig works just as well in clear waters as it does in stained waters, and is usually fished fairly high in the water column above grass, wood, and rock structures, where the enticing action stimulates predators to attack. In pressured waters, a bladed jig can make the difference between success and failure. We’ve also added a solid oval split ring in front for direct attachment to your fluorocarbon or to use it with a steel leader. Feel free to experiment by adding any soft plastic bait as a trailer. Curltails, paddletails, and creatures work really well and swim beautifully.
