The Shükan Slow Jig rod is specifically designed for slow jigging and vertical fishing with madai or inchiku. This Shükan 2.0 casting rod has a semi-parabolic, powerful and very sensitive blank and a spiral ring set-up that will optimize the action of the blank while preserving it from breakage during the toughest fights right under the boat!
With its semi-parabolic action, the Shükan Slow Jig lure rod comfortably absorbs violent rushes as well as the hardest head shots thanks to a good reserve of power in the lower part of the blank.
We recommend it for all deep fishing where the use of a thin braid is necessary so as not to hinder the presentation of your rig, nor the legendary wariness of Porgies, Dentex, etc. Ideal for fishing with metal jigs up to 200 g for the SJ21 and 300g for the SJ2.
