New spool, new brake, new frame! Daiwa engineers have focused on casting distances to develop the new Tatula Elite reel, at the request of American competitors of BassMaster, also Daiwa ambassadors. Thus, the pair of SV and TWS technologies advances further. The SV concept adapts the inertia of the spool according to the weight of the lure and the strength of the cast. When the spool slows down, the magnetic field strengthens to control the cast until the lure lands. With its ultra-lightweight SV spool and its TWS roller which adjusts position during casting or line recovery, this reel allows to cast very small lures at long range as well as large swimbaits. It has an aluminum body even more compact than that of the Tatula SV TW, which houses a robust and reliable mechanism to be able to fight big pikes. Moreover, the Zaion carbon star brake has a pre-programmed small format aluminum adjustment system. Thus, only the magnetic brake adjustment is necessary to adjust the spool restraint and optimize the casts.
