"Wright & McGill Eagle Claw is regarded as the most innovative fishing hook manufacturing company in the world and it is the only hook manufacturer in the United States. They take great pride in both a 90-year heritage of experience, and are at the same time continually on the lookout for the best innovations, to improve their products and thus meet the needs of anglers all over the world. They manufacture and distribute top-quality hooks in over 40 countries.

The Lazer Trokar range was introduced by the company in 2009, and was presented as the first hooks in the world created with the Surgically Sharpened Technology concept. These patents are based on the same technology as some medical supplies (the top of innovation!). At first glance, you will see that the triangular shaped point leaves nothing to chance when it comes to hook penetration. Tests have shown that depending on the hooks studied, a weight between 140 and 100 grams is needed for a point to penetrate a given material, whereas it only takes 60 grams for a Tro Kar hook point to penetrate.

You can immediately see the practical application for carp fishing, by using either a lower weight lead, or maintaining the same lead but with a greater penetration power. Fishing with TROKAR hooks will give you confidence in your equipment and unhooking a fish will become a thing of the past...

The TK 882 shape is perfect for your fluoro or rigid nylon setups."
