At the dawn of its twentieth year, ILLEX has lost nothing of its DNA and marks the return to the catalog of the NITRO range. This new series of rods specially designed for the pursuit of sea predators, from the shore or when traveling (boat or kayak), captures the DNA of the brand since its inception. Composed of eight new models covering all sea fishing techniques, with hard lures, soft lures or jigging. No compromise has been made on quality, all rods benefiting from rigorously selected high-end components: high modulus Japanese TORAY blank, Alconite rings and FUJI reel seats coupled with high density EVA foam. To the performance in fishing situations is added a sober and refined aesthetic. Technical and refined, the NITRO range has been conceived and developed for the specific needs of our European sea anglers.
The NITRO S 220 H-XH Blue Specimen rod was designed by the ILLEX sea team to obtain a rod for strong fishing capable of effectively driving soft lure-type shads linearly, in traction, vertically but also jigs up to 200 g. Its power reserve will allow you to easily defeat large bass and large pollack when sea conditions will be strong and difficult: rough seas, strong currents, deep areas, rocks and wreck areas, etc. This rod is associated with the latest generation of FUJI components. FUJI Alconite ‘K’ rings to eradicate any risk of tangling your line in the rings during launches, whatever the conditions encountered. An EVA handle positioned above the KDPS reel seat will facilitate the animation of your soft lures or your jigs and will also ensure a good grip during fights! A locking counter-nut will secure the reel attachment and a fighting butt will allow the rod butt to be braced in a belt. This rod comes with a screen-printed cover.
