The SHORE STAR 125 is an ultra-effective jig minnow: sea bass from the shore or by boat, pollock, and even small tunas and bonitos. This lure can do it all, and its effectiveness merits some explanation. First, the SHORE STAR 125 benefits from a remarkable aerodynamic profile: it casts far, even in strong head or crosswinds. Then, in water, it sinks horizontally very slowly despite its density. Finally, during animation, it whirls around in a highly attractive manner. The basic animation is as follows: after casting, you need to tension the line and let the lure sink (to the bottom for bass and pollock fishing, mid-water for small tuna and bonito). Then, reel in linearly, occasionally sharply raising the rod 3 times in quick succession! These horizontal jerks serve to bring the lure back up through the water layer and animate it to make it noticeable and attractive. Afterward, you should let it sink again, the line taut. Three out of four times, the bite occurs during this phase. Thanks to the sharpness of its treble hooks, the fish often hooks itself.
