Monsters of efficiency, the Air Force F40 rod series is simply exceptional. During tests, several casts passed the 200-meter mark thanks to its superior quality carbon blank.
Blank composition: • Toray Carbon blank from Japan of 40 tons with an unequalled power/weight ratio • Low resin content construction to preserve the casting potential and action of the rod - prevents the nerve of the blank from softening. • Multidirectional reinforcement at 45 degrees to prevent twisting and improve precision • Designed by CAD to facilitate a progressive release of the blank's power to increase the tip's acceleration but reduce recovery rebound to increase distance. • All F40s have a heel length of 580 mm for a better lever effect to generate greater force and speed.
Components: • Ultra-light blank • American Tackle Titanium Pentalite Black Guide – design to facilitate the glide in the nylon or braid rings with a titanium frame and a ceramic interior • All F40 rods are equipped with a double leg 50 mm guide ring, followed by a double leg 30 mm guide ring. • On the tip, the single leg rings of 25 mm, 20 mm and 16 mm improve balance, tip speed and recovery without distortion. • American Tackle 1K Carbon Pipe reel seat in satin black, helps to maximize the blank's action when it is fully compressed • Carbon butt stop • Carbon line clip
Finish: • 1K carbon weave with Matt Black wraps. • High quality 3D marking on the blank • Conical handle made of textured carbon resin • Aluminium tip • Ergonomic handle made of carbon weave and custom heel caps • Depth markings of 30 and 60 cm on Spod & Marker models for greater precision
