Les polyleaders saumon existent en 7 densités différentes et en 3 longueurs : 5 ft, 10 ft et 14 pieds pour un contrôle en dérive parfait, si souvent essentiel pour la pêche aux migrateurs. Les modèles flottants s’utilisent particulièrement bien avec des mouches du type bomber, les modèles Slow et Fast Sink sont parfaits pour éviter le dragage en employant une soie flottante et les versions Super et Extra Super Fast Sink permettent de racler le fond.
Résistance maximale de pointe 24 à 40 lb suivant le modèle.
