The Square Bill is a crank that has been specifically developed for fishing in shallow and cluttered waters. It features a small and stout body, as well as a short and square bib specifically intended for fishing in obstacles. Indeed, when the lure hits an obstacle such as a submerged tree, the angles of its bib will make it bounce back in opposite directions, thus preventing the hooks from getting stuck in a branch. This also gives it a much more erratic swim than classic crankbaits and therefore makes it particularly interesting for insisting on specific spots.
