Our new interchangeable weights made of pure tungsten are an industry first! Designed to fit on a size 11 swivel barrel, these precision weights counterbalance a floating or balanced bait on your chosen rig. Ideal for Chod, Hinge-Stiff and Spinner rigs, they offer an interesting alternative to lead pastes. Made from pure tungsten, much denser than other tungsten-filled rubber products, they have a surprising size/weight ratio that helps to make the final rig cleaner.
The DM BALANCING WEIGHTS can be used to counterbalance most pop ups / fl oating baits, which is particularly useful when using "naked chod" rigs where it can be difficult to get the necessary weight to correctly balance the pop-up. They are also quickly interchangeable, making them perfect for precisely balancing your baits. They do not wear out and are reusable, meaning they will last indefinitely if not lost.
Available in 5 weights (0.30g - 0.50g), each individual product is laser engraved with a number to identify the weight, that is, 0.30g is labeled as 30. In addition, a "mixed pack" is available, containing 15 weights (3 of each size). With the mixed pack, you can try all the weights until you find one that is perfect, then use the same size every time for that particular bait.
Did you know? Crayfish are fond of lead paste and ask your fishing friends who practice in places where they abound how frustrating it can be to use traditional lead paste. These small weights are perfect for avoiding this kind of problem as well.
TIP: They fit on ALL size 11 Korda swivels. We have done everything possible to try to control the dimensional tolerance of size 11 Korda swivels, BUT sometimes you may find it somewhat difficult to load the weight by hand. We recommend using our Krimp pliers to carefully secure the balancing weight on the swivel. Please note that they do not necessarily fit on size 11 pivots from competitors as sizes vary. Tungsten is a very hard material, it has little flexibility and therefore cannot be easily forced onto oversized swivels.
