The future of fly fishing is naturally in the hands of today's children. Nowadays, fly fishing must compete with a wide variety of other hobbies. Children try new things and abandon them faster than light if they do not have a positive first encounter. With this in mind, giving a young child a long and heavy fly rod with a very light fly line is like shooting oneself in the foot. Unfortunately, this happens too often: we let them use our own sets or buy them a standard ready-to-use combo in a store. In order to make sure their first encounter with fly fishing goes well, we have introduced a special Junior set for children. It has a 4-piece medium action Junior rod, short and light, 4 feet long, a quality Junior reel and a floating Vibe 65 # 5/6 fly line offering unparalleled casting abilities, especially at short and medium distance. With very little practice, any child can get their fly out to all those hungry fish. Starting to fly fish with the right equipment from a very young age couldn't be easier than with this set.
The kit is ready for fishing - the backing, silk and leader are pre-wound and the kit is packed in a short, easily transportable Cordura protection tube with a reel pouch.
PS. This set is exceptional for anyone fishing small creeks with confined spaces, regardless of their age.
