This new technology developed by TORAY significantly increases the strength of the leader lines, consequently allowing for finer fishing. The strength of a chain depends on its weakest link, much like a leader line whose weak point lies in its junction knots. The creation of a knot inevitably weakens the fluorocarbon due to the mechanical and frictional stresses created when tightening. In order to solve this problem, TORAY has innovated the NANOSLIT technology that generates nano grooves (1/1000000 mm) on the surface of the line to considerably reduce frictional stresses while forming knots, thereby preventing its deterioration. A memory-free fluorocarbon that never coils, even in the finest diameters. Additionally, the compact format of the spools brings about substantial space saving.
