This pattern is truly versatile for natural sites, ideal for calm waters and canals, or slow-moving rivers. The body shape is that of an elongated rugby ball, offering superb stability and an excellent body shape to offer low resistance to caught fish and when it is struck out of the water. The high visibility fibreglass bristles and stem diameters increase as the float sizes increase from 0.5 g up to 4 g, so everything is proportioned and balanced as you increase the size.

The fibreglass tips are easy to see and also translucent, making them visible in all lighting conditions, with the glass being very sensitive to identify bites from fish of all sizes in different situations. The metal stem versions of the float are suited to situations where stability is a priority, allowing you to maintain a super stable and static bait even in difficult and windy conditions. The version with a carbon stem is better suited to fast fishing situations where the reduction of tangles is a priority on an ultra-fast expedition, or when you’re looking to catch fish on the drop, allowing the float to ‘follow’ the shot down as it falls through the water. The carbon itself is fine for ultimate performance, slicing through the water cleanly so you don’t have to suffer the annoying blockages when skimming the surface in calm weather.

Available sizes (metal stem and carbon stem): 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1 g, 1.5 g, 2 g, 2.5 g, 3 g, 4 g.

The Guru natural pole float range explained:

This particular range of floats has been in development for a while, we’re almost certain you’ve seen various samples being used by our consultants and in films for quite some time now! However, we’ve constantly tweaked and expanded the range during the design and production phase to produce a complete collection of floats suitable for a diverse range of jobs on natural venues across rivers, canals and stillwaters. Finally, they’ve arrived!

The range covers eight different models that cover lots of shapes and sizes, each having specific uses in different situations. You have probably noticed that the floats have been rigorously tested and trialled by our team of international anglers, with personalities such as Matt Godfrey, James Dent, Steve Ringer, Frankie Gianoncelli and Andy Bennett, all contributing to their production. Much attention and many tweaks have been made to the lengths and diameters of stems and bristles, so each size is unique and perfect for the situation in hand.

The key feature that sets this range of floats apart from anything we or others have ever produced before is the Elastilex paint finish, which gives the floats ultimate strength, durability and longevity. This finish means the high-quality balsa bodies of the float are protected by an ultra-thin and incredibly durable elastic coating which wraps around the body, preventing any damage to the body from wear and tear, impacts or line cuts, therefore reducing the chances of the floats taking on water. The paint finish is a dark colour, which our key anglers thought was important as these floats were being used on clear and natural venues, the dark body blending into the water allowing ultimate focus on the high visibility bristles.

Features:
• A true all-rounder
• High visibility fibreglass tip
• Available in wire and carbon stem
• Carbon and wire versions
