In the department of the Hautes-Pyrénées, at an altitude of 2161 meters, in the middle of a granitic zone, surrounded by mountains covered with eternal snow, draws up an enormous concrete mass raised by the hand of the man: the reserve of Cape de Long. Classé in first category, this artificial lake is accessible to the fishermen a year only a few months, during the summer season, because the remainder of the year, it reigns in these places only snow and ice! They then leave all in search of a fish still little known to France, frightening predator, which lives in the abyssal depths of the lake: the cristivomer! With sporting techniques with the lures, minnow handled or sharp with posed, they dream all to capture this fresh water tiger, called thus because of its extraordinary voracity, which can reach a size record of more than one meter.
