Since its creation in 1968, the lake of Salagou, located in the middle of Languedoc in the department of Herault, was never emptied. It contains according to the statement of the local fishermen of monstrous fish. This lake profits from a soft Mediterranean climate which is characterized by an exceptional sunning of more than 2500 hours a year. Even in winter, the temperature of water seldom goes down below 7°C.
