"Wright & McGill Eagle Claw is considered the most innovative fishing hook manufacturing company in the world and it is the only hook manufacturer in the United States. The Lazer Trokar range was introduced by the company in 2009, and was presented as the world's first hooks created with the Surgically Sharpened Technology concept. These patents are based on the same technology as some medical supplies (the pinnacle of innovation!). Just at first glance, you will notice that the triangle-shaped tip leaves nothing to chance when it comes to driving the hook home when striking. Tests have demonstrated that depending on the hooks studied, a weight between 140 and 100 grams was needed for a point to penetrate a given material, while only 60 grams is needed for the tip of a Tro Kar hook to penetrate.
