The Cajun Buzzbait from Sakura consists of a metal propeller and a Zinc alloy weighted head adorned with a silicone filament skirt, all assembled around a 1.2 mm diameter stainless steel pin. This lure combines the properties of a spinnerbait and a propeller surface lure. The Cajun Buzzbait is a very noisy surface lure that attracts predators from afar and often triggers very brutal attacks. The propeller comes into action from the first turns of the reel and emits a rattle sound and a string of bubbles, both particularly effective. Originally designed for Black-bass, the buzzbait works very well for pike and large perch fishing. Like a spinnerbait, it is capable of overcoming obstacles (weeds, water lilies) without snags, mimicking the frantic escape of an amphibian or the behavior of another hunting predator. It is a sinking lure that swims on the surface, so it needs to be retrieved continuously to express its talents. Reel it in linearly, varying the speed, but without jerks from the rod, it's not more effective. Hold your rod firmly, the attacks are sometimes explosive and surprising!
