Lightweight logistic and tactical plastic case for: Ammunition (small, medium and large weapons), pyrotechnics, explosives, countermeasures, flare guns and weapons, etc... This allows for ammo storage, cartridge box, storage and conservation, hardware, tools, hunting scope, rifles, pistols, valuable items, geo-caching and hunting accessories. The new lightweight and innovative ammunition crates from PPD (LWAC®) are based on a newly patented design by PPD and on raw material resins specially developed by PPD meeting all the requirements and military standards.

The advantages are numerous, but the most important is the direct cost reduction thanks to the following elements

• Reduced weight, more than 68% lower than existing steel boxes. For example, the packaging weight of 1,000,000 12.7 caliber cartridges (.50) will be reduced by 16.5 tons!
• Improved stacking capacity, allowing 90⁰ cross stacking and vertical stacking
• Improved thermal capacity, with reduced heat transfer
• Prepared for integrated RFID labels for tracking and control
• Low noise during handling and contact with steel surfaces
• No spark risk
• Fully compatible with existing steel boxes
• Fully recyclable / reusable
• Choice of multiple colors, for example color code depending on the type of ammo.

The LWAC is perfect for 12.7mm/0.50Cal ammo and less. It has a flat bottom for better storage, allowing you to place boxes of ammo where it is not at risk of tilting.
