The ST Vista model impresses with its exceptional optical quality, inspired by the famous STX range of observation spotting scopes. It is also extremely straightforward and intuitive to use, very robust, completely weather-resistant and packed with many innovative features. Technically, the ST Vista model stands out for its fixed magnification of 30x, its lens aperture of 95 mm and its focus range from 30 meters to infinity. Rotatable by 360° on the horizontal plane and tiltable by 45° on the vertical plane, the ST Vista observation spotting scope offers great usability flexibility.

- OBJECTIVE LENS DIAMETER
The objective lens diameter determines the amount of light that can penetrate the optics. It is therefore a crucial factor of a device's performance, for example, at twilight. The larger the objective lens diameter, the more light the objective lens can capture. The darker the environment, the larger the lens diameter should be. Check the exact product name, as the number after "x" indicates the objective lens diameter in millimeters. For example, a device with the suffix 10x42 has a 42 mm diameter objective lens.

- VARIABLE MAGNIFICATION
Variable magnification allows you to adjust the magnification flexibly, within a specific range. Unlike fixed magnification, it allows you to zoom from the lowest value to the highest value. However, as the magnification increases, the field of view (i.e. the observed part of the image) becomes more restricted. Carefully check the product name, as the number in front of "x" indicates the magnification. For example, a 30-70x95 model is a device with a variable magnification from 30x to 70x.

- TRUE FIELD OF VIEW
The true field of view refers to the size of the part of the image that can be observed through the optics. It is expressed in meters (width) at a distance of 1000 meters (m/1000 m) or as an angle (degrees). The higher the magnification, the more restricted the field of view.
Binoculars have an extended field of view, which means you can observe a wide area. Observation spotting scopes have higher magnification, which narrows their field of view, but allows for more detailed observation.

- WEIGHT
The weight indicates the weight of the device (in grams). Are you planning to walk a lot? If so, the lightness of the equipment is a priority.
