The CT590 S, the latest generation of dual-band radios, is the new model enriching the range of amateur radios from MIDLAND. Designed to be easy to use, it is perfect for those seeking a simple device equipped with numerous features, making it highly versatile. Its strength and reliability are guaranteed by a solid aluminium chassis. The CT590 S operates on VHF 144-146 MHz and UHF 430-440 MHz frequency bands, with the ability to store up to 128 channels.

Thanks to its high performance, it guarantees excellent long-range communications, notably through the 1750 Hz tone which provides access to repeaters. Among its additional features, we find a built-in flashlight for nighttime use, an FM radio receiver (87.5-108 MHz), as well as 50 CTCSS tones and 208 DCS codes, allowing the creation of sub-channels for small group communications.

The CT590 S also offers the possibility to personalise its identifier (ANI-ID) and to send it automatically during transmissions (PTT-ID). Its LCD screen is equipped with an adjustable backlight in three different colours, depending on the activities (reception, transmission, etc.). In addition, the device is fully programmable via the optional PRG-10 software, which allows you to configure and customise parameters such as channels or frequencies, thus offering increased flexibility.
