The KITE OPTICS carbon ARDEA CF tripod is specially designed for birdwatchers. A standard height tripod with 3 sections, offering the possibility to support heavy instruments while remaining very portable and extremely light.
The dimensions of the ARDEA CF are the result of field experience. The large diameter carbon fiber legs offer the best rigidity and the strongest support. The very durable swivel locks offer excellent grip and, as an advantage over conventional 'flip-lock' locks, the swivel locks are faster to use and do not get stuck behind branches or bushes in the field. They also allow the user to easily disassemble the legs for cleaning and maintenance. The tripod weighs only 1.45 kilograms. And with a ball head included, it brings your instrument to a maximum height of 176 cm. More than enough even for people measuring 2 meters.
A wide range of ball heads and other accessories can easily be added via the 1/4 "and 3/8" mounts on the top disk.
