The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a braid made from 4 strands, produced in Japan and equipped with "VT Construction Method" braiding technology. It's a very strong and smooth PE line that's perfect for long distance casts. It's available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.315 mm with an astonishing breaking strength of 29.8 kg. It has the perfect properties for spinning in fresh water and at sea as it's very sensitive and very smooth, which also helps to reduce noise. In addition to Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two other colours will be available: a highly visible Orange and a Multi Colour. The Multi Colour is particularly interesting for deep sea fishing. Thanks to its softness and small diameter, Kairiki 4 is an excellent line for jig fishing as it presents a low water resistance and, due to its maximum elongation of < 3.0%, it is also very sensitive.
