The TOTO from SEASPIN is not just any popper. Just take a look at its profile to notice a transverse hole through the back end, and the two asymmetrical side vents (the "FORUM" system).

The "FORUM" system:
The two asymmetrical side vents indeed serve to channel a greater amount of water into the hole chamber, which is used to achieve four distinct results:
1) Pressure on the curved surfaces that form the rear end, causing lateral shifts by enhancing tail motion.
2) A strong turbulence both inside and outside the hole chamber system and at the sharp edges this chamber forms with the external surface of the lure. Thanks to this turbulence, the popper creates a bubble trail that disperses in the water, significantly greater than that formed by "normal" poppers.
3) A rear brake that slows down the lure when the angler stops retrieving.
4) Improved lure control that facilitates a very easy diving action.
