The Merger Duo NXP50s are innovative multi-channel binoculars that combine a thermal channel and a digital night channel within the same device, enhancing detection, recognition and identification capabilities. The Merger Duo NXP50s capture quality images in different wavelength spectrums (visible, near infrared and long-wave infrared), making them a versatile device for observation at any time of the day under all weather conditions. Taking advantage of both technologies, the Merger Duos facilitate the search for an object through thermal vision, assess the terrain through digital night vision and clearly identify the smallest features and details of the object by combining the two channels.

Combination of thermal and digital observation channels
The Merger Duos offer several observation modes. The thermal channel is used for detection and observation of animals under all weather conditions, while the digital channel maintains high identification capabilities in Full HD resolution. The "Picture-in-Picture" function allows simultaneous display of the images from the two optical channels, favouring either thermal or digital.

Highly sensitive thermal sensor
The thermal imaging sensor with an extreme sensitivity of 640 x 480 pixels @ 17 µm and a NETD <25mK delivers a breathtakingly high-quality thermal image and perfect detail recognition, even in the most difficult weather conditions, when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differentials are clearly perceptible in the rain, fog or in cold mornings, the most challenging conditions for a thermal vision device.

Full HD digital night vision under very low light conditions
The image generated by the Merger Duo NXP50's digital night channel provides high-definition and high-quality detail processing. Silhouettes, anatomical differences, behavioural specifics... The HD screen's electronics display the animal's trophy qualities, providing the hunter with the necessary information to make the right decision regarding a shot.

IR illuminator
The Merger Duo NXP50s come with an adjustable-position invisible 940 nm IR illuminator, which enhances digital image detail for night observation.

User Mode
Use contrast and brightness settings to optimize the level of detail and image data according to the observation conditions.
The User Mode saves your brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory to directly restore an optimal image quality at the next start-up of the thermal device, without having to perform additional adjustments.
