The new GARBOLINO OPTIMA BOMB TC rod is a product of compact telescopic rod type. This type of rod is used mainly for trout fishing in ponds; but also in mountain lakes where their reduced size is of certain utility. This rod has a short strands carbon blank, meaning that the rings are located at the ends of the strands, there are only roaming rings on the tip.
The use of short strands in a rod improves strength and allows a more compact fold. This rod available in 4m20 and 6 strands, has a very thin handle with a non-slip grip and a rack and pinion metal reel seat. The rings with reinforced frames are slightly detached from the blank, but too much to allow the thread to work well along the rod. The reel seat has been positioned to enable both efficient casting and comfortable rod holding in the fishing position.
With a size of 90cm this rod is easy to carry in a car trunk or even along a backpack and its storage in your garage will not cause any problems either. The bonnet provided for the protection and alignment of the rings, is also useful when storing at the end of the fishing session to correctly channel the thread and prevent it from being pinched between the strands.
