The Emblem Surf SCW is the counterpart to the Emblem Carp 35, customized for the sea. This powerful reel features enhanced protection from external elements for a unique lifespan. The frame is protected by MagSealed oil, fixed in a magnetic field to prevent the intrusion of water and impurities even during full rotation. The 6 bearings are treated for corrosion resistance. This reel has a spool in size 35 or 45, with an oscillation height of respectively 35 and 45mm. Its technical polycarbonate frame gives it a notable weight reduction, It is supplied with two spools of different and complementary capacities.
The SCW model has a so-called Slow CrossWrap slow oscillation. The CW model has a moderate oscillation. Thus, the SCW model offers a more precise storage by adjacent spires during recovery. Many surfcasting enthusiasts have a preference for this feature. Now, they can enjoy this slow oscillation while benefiting from the quality of Daiwa. This Emblem has been able to marry slow oscillation and fast recovery: it takes 1.06 m of line at each crank turn! The QD brake allows, in half a turn of the brake button, to switch from a "clutch" mode (free brake) to a "fight" mode (tight brake). The HIP round wire clip mounted on a high quality spring allows marking the casting distance to reposition the assembly at the same place at the next cast.
