The Shakespeare SALT Surf reels are available in the two most popular surf sizes and both have been equipped with a high-capacity spool and a spare spool. This allows you to cast the types of distance you need to reach well beyond the waves, to reach fish passing in front of the breakers. The lightweight anodised aluminium spool is backed by a smooth-operating brake system that allows you to lock on casting. In addition, the 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system coupled with sturdy gearing ensures truly smooth operation.
