The Oppais Soft Natural Mediterranean are special TATAKI Oppais of 7cm mounted in double crown. They are definitely a "Must Have" especially dedicated to the Mediterranean, with only colors from fish that are part of the squids' meals in this area. The gel making up the body is neutrally buoyant, allowing for very quick action underwater and very slow descent during breaks after the action. This model is with a transparent yellow frame. Sold individually.

What is TATAKI?
TATAKI is a real revolution in squid fishing. Indeed, we can now fish for squid during the day, and actively. The Tataki technique requires a flexible rod, with a very powerful butt.

The assembly:
You will assemble a train of soft trolling lures on leaders of maximum 1cm. At the head, it will be composed of a "FIVE SWIVEL" swivel having the perfect the weight (very important for this technique) for our assembly. Your train will end with a weight between 35 and 150gr depending on the areas (you can even use OMORI Sutte for this). The action will be very quick and aggressive: literally "shake" your rod for a few seconds, then make a sharp break of 2 or 3 seconds, then repeat the operation. Prospecting all the different water layers. It is ideal to use with this type of assembly thin braids from 12 to 20/100.

Regarding the colors, you will use:
• Blue, green and transparent colors for clear waters and periods when squids are less active.
• Pink, orange and rainbow colors when squids are very active.
• The yellow color is really specific for very dirty waters.
