On the dawn of its twentieth year, ILLEX has lost none of its DNA and marks the return to the catalogue of the NITRO range. This new series of rods specially dedicated to hunting marine predators, from the shore as well as onboard (boat or kayak), takes up the DNA of the brand since its inception. Composed of eight new models covering all sea fishing techniques, with hard lures, soft lures or jigging. No concession has been made on quality, all rods benefit from rigorously selected high-end components: High modulus Japanese TORAY Blank, Alconite rings and FUJI reel seats associated with a high-density EVA foam. The performance in fishing situations is associated with a sober and refined cosmetic. Technical and accomplished, the NITRO range has been thought and developed for the specific needs of our European sea anglers.
The NITRO S 225 H Thunder Scale is a powerful rod for onboard fishing of bass as well as pollack. Its fast and powerful action allows to animate lures up to 60g, surface lures (Bonnie series, ChatterBeast 110 and 145); and allows to restrain the largest bass when you fish for swimbait parks (Rerange series, Stream Ripper 110). It is also recommended for soft lures such as Nitro Shad 120 to 180 or Nitro Slim Shad 150 and 180 weighted up to 42g in linear or traction and allows all types of vertical fishing up to 150g. Its power reserve will allow you to compete with the largest specimens. This rod is associated with the latest generation FUJI components. FUJI Alconite 'K' rings to eradicate any risk of tangling your line in the rings during casting, whatever the conditions encountered. The VSS reel seat will provide comfort and optimal handling throughout your fishing session! This rod comes with a screen-printed cover.
