For optimal configuration of your LOWRANCE HDS PRO, HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon and Elite FS compatible Sonar GPS combos, this ACTIVE TARGET 2 Sonar pack and removable 360° PIKE ‘N BASS Sonar pole, in the short 1m version reference 410169 is the ultimate solution for real-time imaging.
The ACTIVE TARGET 2 sonar gives you real-time images on 3 views Forward, Down and Scout and therefore complements the technologies of your sonar. It is essential to use the removable 360° Pike'N Bass sonar pole Made in FRANCE that easily fits all types of boats thanks to the standard supplied pedestal and multiple adjustments. Made of anodised aluminium and stainless steel tubes, it adapts to all boat decks made of polyester, aluminium, wood or polyethylene. The optional 247316 247306 brass inserts and 247406 AMIAUD stainless steel inserts, facilitate its installation. It allows for quick deployment of your sonar and orientation in 360° in order to optimise the view on your screen in all circumstances. It easily folds into a horizontal position to allow you to keep your complete installation securely on your boat while sailing at high speed and also on the road during your travels.
Power supply advice:
The ACTIVE TARGET 2 sonar needs to be powered with 12v in addition to your sonar. Make sure you have enough battery power on your 12V battery for a full day's autonomy.
It is recommended to install a switch on the power supply of your ACTIVE TARGET 2 sonar in order to cut it off during movements on the water.
Advice for installing the ACTIVE TARGET 2 sonar on the removable sonar pole:
The sonar pole mounting is usually on the starboard side and next to the helm so you can adjust the orientation of your sonar while sitting on your console seat and enjoy a complete view if you are two anglers in vertical fishing mode.
For navigation on the combustion engine and high speed, it's necessary to fold your pole into a horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your sonar.
