E.T are the initials of Egg Tail which means egg-shaped tail. Indeed, the tail of this shad is oval like an egg which gives it new vibrations. Designed by Masaru Nakamura, a famous Japanese angler, the oval tail of the E.T SHAD comes to life practically at the mere contact of water, flexible without being too much, the moving tail does not come into touch with the body of the lure but it swings enough from left to right to involve the body of the lure in a subtle rolling that allows the contrasts of colors between the belly and the back to appear. Special attention has been paid to the natural position of the tail on landing at the contact with the bottom. The E.T Shad is undoubtedly more subtle than a simple paddle lure!
