The Mirage JT 128 Trefle Creation is a breathtakingly realistic swimbait! An exceptionally well-crafted finish, it features hyper imitative colors with a scaled livery more real than nature itself. The head even has a metallic coating for an even more striking resemblance. The Mirage JT 128 produces a natural S-swimming action with a simple linear reel retrieval. The horizontally positioned front attachment enhances this swimming action. When jerked, it deviates sharply with sharp sideways swerves while wobbling on itself. During pauses, it sinks slowly horizontally, wobbling on itself like a wounded prey would.
This swimbait has a highly innovative system that allows it to reach record casting distances for a 2-part articulated lure: the pendulum lock system. This patented system is revolutionary as it locks the mobile tail during casting - thus allowing the lure to stay in line like an arrow. The Mirage JT 128 is even one of the rare swimbaits with a tungsten ball mass transfer system in the tail. Combined, these two technologies allow it to reach exceptional distances for a swimbait.
The Mirage JT 128 is a perfect swimbait for predatory fishing (pike, black bass, etc.) Note that its creator, Hiroshi Takahashi, originally designed it for sea use on beautiful predators (bass, leerfish, barracudas, etc.) – which is rare for a swimbait. The Mirage JT 128 has an interchangeable TPE soft tail.
