The ESOX V2 is the latest swimbait from LUCKY LURES. This lure is handmade from start to finish in a small workshop in Rotterdam, Holland. The utmost care is given to assembly and finishing, which takes several hours. Each part of the ESOX is made of solid Urethane resin cast separately. The main advantage of this resin is its high strength and its inability to rot, unlike wood. Wood is mainly used for the creation of prototypes.

The resin sinks like lead, that's why an accurate dosage of micro bubbles is injected into the resin to give it the right balance to swim well depending on the level of buoyancy desired. The resin is injected at high pressure to prevent the presence of air bubbles from forming. The absence of air pockets is later checked with a powerful lamp. The weights are placed in strategic locations to ensure perfect balance.

Before being painted, the body of the lure is cleaned with a knife and dremel of all impurities. To keep the paint on, it is carefully degreased. The paint is applied with an airbrush using pearlescent colors, multiple layers of ultra glossy epoxy varnish are applied afterwards.
