The Airflo Forty+ Booby Special fly line is a unique line and its head must be adjusted to the power of your rod by cutting it. It reaches maximum fishing distances and sinks extremely quickly. The Airflo Forty+ Booby Special fly line is primarily suitable for deep fishing from the shore or by boat. Its taper weighs 400 grains and its sink rate is a real S8. Once the line is cast, it will reach depths of 10 metres and more thanks to its sinking rate of 8 inches per second (20.32 cm per second). The total length of the fly line is 150 ft (45.72 metres) and the casting taper measures 55 ft (16.77 metres) for 400 grains.

Boat or float tube fishermen should shorten the line by 60 to 120 cm as they cast while being lower to the water.
