PLATINUM Treatment: This permanent coating applied on both sides of the lenses gives them high resistance to scratches (1.4cd/m²), to the most aggressive chemicals and delays the fogging. In all circumstances and at all times, Platinum® innovation puts eyes under high security.
EN166: Minimum resistance guarantee of protection against common risks (drop of the protection on the ground, ageing in light, exposure to heat, corrosion etc)
EN170: Protection filters against ultraviolet radiation. This type of protection is particularly recommended during activities where the source of ultraviolet radiation is predominant, such as mercury vapour, actinic or germicidal lamps. Application levels: 2-1.2, 2C-1.2.
EN172: Solar protection filters for industrial use. Recommended for outdoor work, EN172 protections guarantee a 99.99% filtering of solar ultraviolet radiation.
CE: European Standard. The frame marking must mandatorily bear the CE symbol
F: Mechanical risk - Low energy impact. Low energy impact 45m/s: resistance to shocks of a steel ball of 6mm diameter and minimum 0.86g thrown at 45m/s.
T: Mechanical risk – Impact at extreme temperatures. The letter T, immediately after the symbol of mechanical resistance, authorizes use for particles thrown at high speed at extreme temperature.
N: Reinforced anti-fogging treatment. The N anti-fogging treatment is a certified anti-fog treatment.
