Seanox swivel kit in stainless steel, made in France.

Swivel kits for rod holders are commonly used in tuna fishing, as these powerful fish exert strong pressure on the line and the rod. Swivel kits help anglers manage this pressure while preventing damage to their gear.

Instructions for use:

You can adjust the hardness of the braking by tightening or loosening the nut located under the kit.
Once the kit is inserted into the rod holder, position the rod's gimbal on the swivel kit to allow the rod to pivot.
At the start, the rod begins to bend under the pressure of the fish. The swivel kit allows the rod to turn freely while maintaining a constant tension on the line. The angler can then grab the rod or decide to let the fish continue its rush with the rod following the lateral movements. This reduces the pressure exerted on the rod and minimises the risk of line or rod breakage.

This swivel kit is ideal for use with our special chumming rod holder, reference 478008.
