The Sodwana was developed to provide the angler with a superbly built rod at a very affordable price. The blank is flexible but remains very responsive, even when loaded. The Slick butt helps avoid damaging the rod holder and makes the rod stiffer in its lower part. A roller tip top ring is used so that, where the line has the most angle and stress, it can reduce the pressure during an extended fight.
