The Shakespeare SALT XT Boat rods set a new standard for boat rods in their price category. Due to the high-quality carbon used, the rods all have a blank of very small diameter, but there is more than enough power in these rods. The sensitive tip section relies on a solid blank, to ensure there is enough power to set a good hook at great depths and fight a big fish. A long front handle in high density EVA and can be held with 2 hands when you are fighting a big fish. All rods are equipped with a rubber butt and a retractable X wrap rear handle to maximize comfort.
